Stepping Out In Style: Intricate Paving

‘Floor Focus’ is one of the emerging landscape design trends over the last two years. A variety of paving elements can help transform your space and give it its own unique character and personality. ‘Floor focus’ techniques include use of oversized pavers, intricate paving, geometric tiles, plant tiling, and mix and match paving stones.

Our Sunshine Coast team recently installed a ‘patchwork’ of different sized exposed aggregated concrete pavers on a rooftop garden of a luxury residential home. We installed pavers spaced with white and gray gravel, and tiny succulents were planted to offer a pop of green. This is an excellent example of using the trend ‘floor focus’ in a confined residential space to create a point of interest that matches the personality of the home.
