Mooloolah Island Private Residence

Penfold Projects was engaged for the landscaping and concreting works for the lawn and rooftop garden at a luxury new build in the exclusive community of Mooloolah Island in Minyama, Sunshine Coast.

The scope of work included landform work, hardscaping, and softscaping. The work completed for the Mooloolah Island project was over two levels, and the project featured a rooftop garden. A standout feature of the project is the concrete fire pit area, which was integrated with the retaining wall.

The site was difficult with limited access due to proximity to waterways. Techniques and materials were chosen to ensure the project was environmentally conscious, and the irrigation system was designed to be water efficient. Despite the challenges encountered with regards to accessibility and the proximity to water, the project is a success and turned out beautifully, the project was completed to budget and on schedule.
