Hamilton Residence

Our brief for this Hamilton residence was to deliver a landscape that felt refined yet luxurious, with every element working together to enhance the property’s overall aesthetic without overpowering it. This was achieved through a curated design approach, carefully integrating the streetscape, entry, main lawn, pool surrounds and elevated rooftop gardens into one cohesive landscape.

Premium materials, subtle detailing and a sophisticated plant palette were selected to create a sense of high-end luxury, allowing texture, form and layering to become the defining design features rather than bold statements. The result is a landscape that is clean, functional and elegant, while providing year-round visual impact and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. One of the standout aspects of the project is how the planting and hardscape work together to soften the home’s contemporary lines, creating inviting spaces that feel established and timeless from every viewpoint.

Behind the finished result was extensive site preparation, including detailed set-out, careful soil preparation, installation of drainage and irrigation infrastructure, precise level coordination and close collaboration with the builder and other trades to ensure every stage aligned with the construction programme.

Working within a confined site alongside multiple trades presented a significant challenge, requiring meticulous planning, proactive communication and flexible scheduling to maintain productivity and protect completed works. Through disciplined programming, efficient sequencing and strong collaboration with all stakeholders, the project was delivered to the highest standard, successfully transforming the original vision into a sophisticated home landscape that enhances both the property’s architecture and the lifestyle of its owners.
