Project Wrap Up: South City Square Stage 1

South City Square by Pellicano and Perri Projects is a 21,444sqm mix-use urban regeneration project in Woolloongabba, minutes from Brisbane City. Our landscape construction team completed commercial landscaping works atop South City 1’s rooftop recreation space and its surrounding streetscape.

South City Square is a $600 million project with a total of seven buildings. In addition, the development also includes an assortment of retail, hospitality, outdoor, health, and childcare facilities. Futhermore, Reading Cinemas and Woolworths group has also recently secured their places as premium retailers within the new precinct.

Our team was responsible for a mix of landscaping and construction work on the project, including paving, turfing, podium planters, and gardens on the street level, and graveling, decking, furniture, stairs, and a feature green wall on the rooftop level.

Our Brisbane commercial landscaping team completed South City 1 in June 2017 with impeccable finishes despite challenges presented by site access. We are looking forward to starting work on the upcoming stage 2!
